The region is called the Limestone Coast due to its abundance of limestone.  It is a very fertile region with growing vineyards rivalling the Coonawarra and the Barossa Valley.  Its an area rich in farming history and heritage.  Padthaway is a very small picturesque town that has a lot to offer the discerning traveller.  The Padthaway Homestead is well worth a stay.  It has been featured in many a travellers show and is kept in pristine condition.  The surrounding grapevines are harvested for making Australian French champagne.

We have 2100 acres of clay flats that are peppered with huge red and blue gums.  The horses run in 100 acre paddocks all year round that have been renovated with dolomite and aerated to produce lush and longlasting pastures.

All the mares have fantastic natures and are safe for my children to ride and handle.  We have a few different breeding programs but the overall aim is to breed the old type of pure arabian that was known for its temperament, correctness and beauty, all in a rideable package.
